Nikita A. Milton, Ed.D
Founder and CEO, Lagniappe Creative Consulting
Dr. Nikita A. Milton, also known as MICKEY (or Dr. Mick), has over 25 years of professional experience with focuses in strategic planning, event management, communication strategies, crisis management, project management, organizational development,
as well as enrollment management. These skills provided opportunities for her to work with higher education institutions as
well as small businesses and non-profit organizations.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Journalism, a master’s degree in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Higher Education Administration, and a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration.

Today, Nikita serves as the Director of Graduate Admissions and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Music & Media at Loyola University New Orleans. In addition to Lagniappe Creative Consulting, she is also the Owner of Giftology New Orleans, a curated gift box company focused on individual and corporate gifting. She is also involved in the community serving in leadership roles with a local Mardi Gras krewe and other city wide initiatives.
When Nikita is not immersed in her professional and business ventures, she is spending time with her three children, family and friends, and indulging in reading, crafting, and New Orleans culture.
